Snorkel - the waters in Exuma are some of the best in the world. You can walk right out of our home for some nice coral reefs, or rent a boat and for some serious underwater adventures. Locals can tell you were the "best" spots are. If you don't have your own equipment, Minn's Water Sports will gladly rent. Enjoy some local culture - We really recommend you make an effort to take in some local culture. The Friday night barbecue at Two Turtles Inn is an easy way to interact with those on the island while sampling some local flavor. Visiting the craft market on a Saturday morning is another good way to learn about the island. Day trips to Stocking Island - Ferrys go from Peace and Plenty several times a day. For about $8, you can take a ferry ride to the island, have a conch burger and Kalik for lunch and relax on the exquisite beaches. The ocean side beach is just a short hike and a must see - truly breathtaking. Scuba Diving Whether you are experienced or novice, Exuma is the place for diving. You can have training courses, or if you are already qualified just come and enjoy the unbelievable colors of the coral reefs that cover the Atlantic sea bed.
