1. Government Clinic: 242-336-2088 - The doctor is in most mornings, in case of an emergency, most anyone will help find the doctor. This is a small town, and everybody knows everyone else,
where they are and most likely where they are going and when.
2. Exuma Tourist Office: 242-336-2430 - If you are lucky enough to find them open, they can be very helpful.
3. Anglican (Episcopal) Church: All are welcome, services are usually at 11:00am, Sunday.
4. Peace & Plenty: 242-336-2551 - Good meals, watch bulletin board for dances, barbecues, and entertainment, take the ferry from here to Stocking Island (call for times and fare).

8. Straw Market: Under the shade of a century's old tree, nearly a dozen stands display a variety of straw goods, handcrafted with unique Exuma designs. Local produce is also available in season.
9. Government Building: Police 919 or 336-2666, post office, the Commissioner.
10. Government Dock: Mail boat and commercial boats dock here -- the whole island gathers around the mail boat when it comes in, watching all this activity is a real experience. The schedule varies, so ask Fredricka.
11. Regatta Point: This is where the annual Family Island Regatta starts and ends.

15. Starfish Exuma Activity Center: 242-336-3033 - Sailing, diving, tours, bicycles, fishing, etc.
16. Exuma Market: Fax 242-336-2645 - Biggest and best grocery store. Fredricka Glass, our caretaker, works there, you can send a fax to her and she will bring groceries to you when she gets off work.

20. Sam's Place: 242-336-2579 - Good food with a great view overlooking Elizabeth Harbour.
21. Mom's Mobile Bakery: Mom drives in from Williamstown in the mornings and sells her delicious baked goods from her van. Get there early!
22. Exuma Dive Center: 242-336-2390 - Complete diving programs, moped rentals.
23. Baptist Church: Friendly, welcomes visitors.
24. Ice Cream Shop: Featured flavors, chocolate, vanilla, coconut, and rum raisin. Enjoy!

27. Eddie's Edgewater Inn: 242 336-2050 - Andrea and Victor Brown run the Inn. It is not impressive from the outside. When you go inside, you are in the bar which Victor runs with ease and friendliness. The restaurant is in the back, which Andrea manages. The atmosphere is warm and kind and the food is great! You can meet and chat with all sorts of people.
In the winter, don't miss the "Rake n' Scrape" on Monday & Wednesday nights, native music played on washtubs, saws, and anything else handy!
