The House

Our secluded beachfront home rests on several acres including 600ft. of private white sand beach a section of Tar Bay Beach which stretches more than two miles along the east coast of Great Exuma. The views are outstanding, and there is excellent snorkeling right in front of the house. Paradise Point is located two and a half miles south of the airport and six miles north of GeorgeTown, home of the Out Island Regatta, restaurants, grocery stores, native shops, government offices and straw markets. The home is divided into three separate living areas, a main upper level, a self contained guest quarters on the lower level (included in the rental lease), and a separate private apartment for our caretaker.

The main upper area sleeps 4 and is surrounded ocean side by a wooden deck from which to enjoy the sunrise each morning as you start another day in paradise. This level contains a master bedroom with a king-sized bed, a full bathroom, a greatroom for living and dining comfort and full-size fully furnished kitchen. The octagonal greatroom has large windows and window seats which offer a spectacular 180° view of the ocean and includes a living area with sofa bed and a dining area with a table that seats 8.  The greatroom opens to a full size kitchen.

A separate downstairs unit is included in the lease. This unit contains a full bath, one queen-size bed and one twin-size bed. Fredricka "Freddie" Glass, our caretaker, lives in a separate apartment on the property. Freddie works in George Town at Exuma Market and can be helpful in arranging for food deliveries, taxis, boat trips, tours, and just about anything else.
