Passports - A passport, or official birth certificate and photo ID for each guest. |
| Pack light - Casual everywhere. You can get by for a week with a bathing suit, a pair of shorts, a pair of long pants, and two or three shirts. There is a laundromat in town, if needed. Other than in restaurants and shops, even shoes are optional. The Bahamas Climate is very mild. |
| Food - Groceries can be purchased to be available when you arrive according to guest shopping list at additional cost. Bring any packaged specialities you might want - the stores on the island offer basic fare. You'll find a fully furnished kitchen and outdoor grill at house. |
| Diving - The snorkeling is so spectacular, few guests actually scuba. Equipment rental nearby. |
| Fishing - Bring your own rods and gear - or rent locally, polarized glasses, boatshoes or reef walkers and sunscreen. Guides are available for deep sea or bonefishing. |
Bring Cash - For incidentals such as meals out, guides, airport departure tax and souvenirs. The ATM's on the island, are not always adequately stocked with cash - so plan ahead. |
| Credit Cards - Visa / Mastercard accepted some places. |
Tennis - The tennis on the island is expectedly low key in terms of dress and equipment. |
| Golf - Four Season's Emerald Bay - Greg Norman-designed course is under construction for 2005. |
| Perscriptions / Toiletries - All necessary medications should be carried on the plane in your carry-on luggage, stored in the original prescription containers. Plan ahead for any possible medical contingencies. Bring sunscreen, medications and personal cosmetics, baby needs. |
| Tipping - A $30 per person Service and Gratuity charge will be added to your final invoice for all guests arriving on or after Jan. 1, 2005. Before that date, gratuity is not included. |
| Communications - The house is not wired for internet access. A telephone is available ath the house for local calls. Long Distance (throught ATT operator) must be billed to guests' credit/calling cards. |
| Housekeeping - There is a caretaker onsite for assistance with checkin/checkout. All housekeeping duties during your stay are the guests' responsibility. |
